Fairfield Villa 2
Littleton 5
FAIRFIELD allowed a slender lead to slip through their fingers after a first half Littletons goal blitz on Saturday.
Villa's hopes of scoring a confidence boosting victory were enhanced when Kelvin Daley scored early on.
But their hopes were blown away as Littleton hit back with four first half goals.
James Witsey provided the home side with cutting edge and Daley scored from his cross.
Villa though were unable to hold the lead for long as Matt Edwards' 20-yard shot levelled the scores.
Two goals in two minutes by Paul Jones and Phil Haines then stunned Villa.
Witsey continued to be a thorn in Littleton's side and he pulled a goal back after a loose back pass to goalkeeper Adrian Pritchard.
Fairfield fell two goals behind when Daniel Malins scored.
After the break Villa's task was made almost impossble when Jones scored Littleton's fifth.
In a bid to pull a goal back, Villa poured forward, but 'keeper Dave White was forced to keep Littleton at bay by making several saves.
