Bromsgrove under-10s almost won their first trophy in eight years at the North Midlands Festival on Sunday.
The young Boars made it to the final, but lost to Worcester 25-0.
In their first group game James Harborne scored the decisive try against Droitwich to seal victory.
Against Birmingham and Solihull Mike Leach and Chris Cornelissen scored to ensure Bromsgrove's place in the quarter-finals.
Chris Howard eventually broke the deadlock against Stourbridge, sprinting half the pitch to touch down the decisive try.
Bromsgrove then powered into the finals as James Harborne (2) and Chris Cornellisen
touched down.
However, Bromsgrove found Worcester too much in the final.

With this definitely being a game of two halves, Chaddesley came out narrow winners.
The evenly matched sides played a game of entertaining rugby in soggy conditions. Chaddesley had the better of the first half and Alcester came back strongly in the second.
Chaddesley try scorers were Luke Clark(3), Ben Brogan (2) and James Needham. Ben Brogan converted two of the tries.

Corbett crashed out of the North Midlands Cup against one of the favourites.
Wayne Stevens and Richard Fry touched down for Chaddesley. Rob Burton converted.
Bromsgrove U15s 24

Bromsgrove came from 5-0 down to get the better of a hard working Nuneaton side.
Scrum-half Whittam set up Audley for a try which levelled the scores, before McGregor powered through Nuneaton for a touch down Talbot converted.
Bromsgrove exented their lead when Michael crossed the try line, while Talbot converted.
Boars full back Bunn completed the scoring when he collected Hudson's pass and touched down.
