CHESS: HEADLESS Cross Chess Club had a convincing win over Hagley recently thanks to two wins from David Richardson and Penny Wood.
Three draws from John Holberg, Russell Sanders and Mark Hore also helped the Cross cause.
The club runs two teams, which play in the Worcestershire County and Worcestershire and District leagues, and has recently changed venue to Redditch United's Valley Stadium on Thursday's from 7pm.
New members are welcome.
