HOLDERS Archdales '73 clinched comfortable Worcester Nursing Junior Cup progress with a 2-0 win at fierce rivals Tolladine Sports in the second round.
Watched by a big crowd, Dales controlled most of the first-half for long periods and took the lead when Neil Mogford powerfully headed home a Sam Green corner.
Darren Tafft should have scored but was denied by the 'keeper twice.
Jason Beck put Dales two goals ahead after Richard Silk sent him clear, out-pacing the defence to coolly find the net.
Tolladine battled hard in the second-half but were unable to unlock the defence in so 'keeper Dean Smith kept his tenth clean sheet of the season.
