DEFIANT Shaun Cunnington insisted Kidderminster Harriers' embarrassing mauling by Boston United had made him even determined to win the job on a permanent basis.
Bottom-of-the-table Harriers crashed 4-0 at home in Coca-Cola League Two with all the goals arriving in a second-half horror show.
Cunnington introduced two new signings in left-back Jon Beswetherick and forward Darryn Stamp but Harriers suffered a fourth straight league defeat without scoring.
However, the former youth team boss, who has been put in charge for at least a month, declared: "It makes me more determined to do the job.
"I've told the players exactly what I think. They've taken that on board and what they do with it is entirely up to them. I'm just endeavouring to try and turn this situation around. It is difficult. Perseverance, hard work and determination is what it's going to take. I have all those ingredients. Whether I have the time to do it or not is another thing."
