WORCESTER'S would-be demolition specialists, engineers, apprentice dumper-truck drivers, scaffolders, steeplejacks, roofers and ceiling fixers can now pick up a copy of the National Construction College's 2005 prospectus.
Year 11 students, who are considering a career in construction, are being advised by the college to pick up a copy of the new format prospectus and register their interest for the 2005 course intake as early as possible.
The free prospectus features 122 pages of course information covering a full range of apprenticeships offered at the National Construction College's four UK sites.
Covering courses in plant operations and mechanics, groundworks, crane operations, lightning conductor engineering, scaffolding and steeplejacking, general construction, civil engineering, roofing, ceiling fixing, partitioning, surveying and setting out and floor covering, the prospectus has got something for everyone including a brand new demolition course.
"The construction industry is crying out for new recruits," said Ian Woodward, new entrant training manager at the college.
"As well as excellent job prospects, there is an exciting and rewarding career ahead of any young person who enters the industry via the National Construction College."
