THE guest at Worcestershire Cricket Society's next meeting on Tuesday (November 9) will be Stephen Peters, the county's opening batsman.
A native of Essex, Stephen joined that county in 1996 and played until 2001. Considering the Midlands a better prospect, he joined Worcestershire in 2002, establishing himself as an opening bat. Last season he scored 907 first-class runs at 31.27.
The meeting is held at Worcestershire CCC's ground, New Road, Worcester starts at 7.30 pm. Admission is free to Cricket Society members, £2.50 to non members.
