I was sorry to read Diane Caldicott had not been able to recruit a volunteer for the WRVS Laundry Service (Your Letters, October 22).
However, there are many retired people who volunteer in Malvern every year and give their time and skills to a range of local voluntary organisations, where they are greatly appreciated.
