I RECENTLY lost my mother Mrs Joyce Gough after a courageous fight against a long and painful illness and would like to thank everybody who helped me and my family through a very trying time: the Chase High School - headmaster, teachers and domestics - for whom my mother worked tirelessly for over 35 years; special mention to Mrs June Wood, whose help we will never be able to repay, and mum's friend, Joan, my rock, Vanda Piasecki, and others, too many to mention.
I would also like to thank the many people who turned out on such a horrible (weather) day on October 22 at Great Malvern Cemetery. She would have been very humbled by the turn out and by the contributions and flowers.
Lastly I would like to thank the Malvern Gazette for the many years of happiness the paper gave her, she really did enjoy reading it. God bless you all.
MR DAVID GOUGH, Watkins Way, Poolbrook, Malvern.
