HOUSEHOLDERS bagging themselves new furniture ready for Christmas are being urged to spare a thought for those less fortunate and donate their old belongings to a Worcester-based charity.
Armchair, which aims to supply people on low incomes with household furnishings, has a waiting list of people desperate for bedroom furniture.
Chairman Margaret Jones said: "What we need most are beds, tables and dressing tables but we could also make use of three-piece suites.
"We welcome any quality household items, but nothing electrical, and we'll happily collect. "
