CYCLESTUFF riders regrouped on Sunday for Autumn/Winter training rides.

Starting from the Cyclestuff shop at Blackminster, the nine riders who were joined by last year's Under-18 Polish Mountain Bike champion, headed out at a steady pace into the lanes through Bretforton, Honey-bourne and Mickleton before climbing up to Ilmington.

They then took in a loop as they headed through Quinton, Long Marston and Welford where they crossed a swollen river Avon and continued on via the Graftons and Wixford before taking refreshments at Hiller's Fruit Farm.

The return leg brought the riders home via Bidford and Cleeve Prior with the riders having covered 40 miles.

Cyclestuff are looking for more riders and, with the racing form disappearing fast, now is an ideal time for the not so fit to join them.

Anyone interested should contact Dave Clarkson on 01386 49693 or turn out at the shop on Sundays for a 10am start returning at 1pm.

l SEVENTEEN riders left Evesham in cool but bright and dry conditions last Sunday morning.
