WINE enthusiasts got together with members of the Wyre Forest branch of the Alzheimer's Society to present £500 for the society's funds.
The Wine Island Tasting Society - Twits - held a barbecue, attended by more than 150 members and guests, at Wolverley's Bodenham Arboretum, where a cheque for the cash was handed over.
The money was raised in a variety of ways by Twits, which was set up in 1987 and has 120 members, drawn from across Wyre Forest and further afield. Some make their own wine.
The group raises money each year for local charities.
