ROCKET motor makers in Kidderminster are hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for Kemp Hospice and the Brambles Trust when the curtain is lifted on their eighth annual pantomime.

The Summerfield Amateur Showstoppers will be treading the boards in their production of Peter Pan at the Chain Wire Club, Oldington, next week.

The 15-strong cast is made up of current and ex-employees of Roxel UK, based at Summerfield.

Over the years the group has raised more than £9,000 for various charities and this year will split the proceeds between the hospice and Brambles, which supports bereaved children.

Opening night next Friday is already a sell-out but tickets are available for the next day's matinee and evening performances by ringing 01562 828054.
