EVESHAM'S Under-9s travelled to Hereford last Sunday morning when honours ended equal.
The Avon Street youngsters played extremely well when narrowly losing the first game by two tries to one. They showed real resilience second time out when winning the second contest 2-0.
Great tackles were made by the visiting youngsters and a number of excellent driving mauls created openings for the tries that were richly deserved.
The juniors are on the road again on Sunday with a visit to Stow-on-the-Wold.
The club's youth section meets every Sunday at 10am at he the Sports Club and anyone interested in joining will be made most welcome.
