YOUNG summer signing Chris Childs put in an impressive display as Stourport Swifts won their second pre-season friendly.
Swifts defeated Causeway 2-1 at Walshes Meadow last Thursday with midfielder Childs and striker Duncan Willetts on target in the first half.
Causeway pulled a goal back in the second period and were denied a late goal by several fine saves from sub keeper Craig Ladek, on trial from Redditch.
Mark Crisp also forced an excellent save from the visitors' keeper, while another teenager, Milichev Sander, showed promise.
l Swifts have been drawn at home to Halesowen Town in the Worcestershire Senior Cup first round.
Former Swifts stars Alex Cowley and Asa Charlton are both on the books at Halesowen along with ex-Kidderminster Harriers players Steve Pope and Richard Burgess.
The game will be played on or before Wednesday, October 27, with the winners visiting Kidderminster Harriers in the second round.
Meanwhile, Harriers Under-18s host Sutton Coldfield Town in the Worcestershire Youth Cup second round due to be played in January.
