STOURPORT Swifts were given the perfect tonic in midweek ahead of the start of their new season.
They beat Coca-Cola League Two outfit Shrewsbury Town 2-0.
And Swifts boss Dave Titterton was delighted to see new signing Mark Crisp on the scoresheet.
"He is scoring goals, but there is more to it than that," said Titterton.
Swifts start the new Southern League Division One West campaign away at Egham on Saturday.
