WORCESTER City's record signing Jai Stanley will see a specialist about his injured knee today amid fears it could be more serious than first thought.
The midfielder limped off after just 18 minutes of his home debut in City's Dr Martens League Cup clash with Sutton Coldfield eight days ago.
City manager John Barton admitted it was a real cause for concern.
"It's not looking good, but we'll have to wait and see what the outcome is," said Barton.
Meanwhile, Allan Davies (ankle) who was injured in the 3-1 win at Eastbourne 10 days ago, has reported some improvement but is still rated doubtful for Saturday's home clash with Welling United.
Meanwhile, Malvern Town take on West Midlands League rivals Lye at home in the Worcestershire Senior Urn semi-finals.
In the other semi-final Bromsgrove Rovers Reserves face a home tie with Alvechurch.
Matches to be played on or before March 3.
