KIDDERMINSTER Harriers chief Jan Molby has tipped Chester City as a team to beat if Kidderminster are to make a big impact in League Two.
But Chester were thrown into disarray yesterday when boss Mark Wright quit and his assistant David Moss also left last season's Conference champions.
Ray Mathias, the former Tranmere chief, was due to take temporary charge of today's game against Notts County for the side who had impressed Molby most so far.
The Harriers director of football said: "It's very difficult to say how League Two will go this season. I've only seen a couple of teams but Chester were very impressive and looked ready to play competitively early on. Physically, they were very strong."
After today's opener at Rushden and Diamonds for Harriers, County are the first visitors of the season to Aggborough on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, former Harriers midfielder Graham Ward has signed a one-year deal with rivals Cheltenham and left-back Scott Stamps is on trial at Tamworth.
