WORCESTER City are counting the cost of the rain after a second postponement in consecutive weekends.

The St George's Lane club's clash with Welling United fell victim to the weather and chairman Dave Boddy admitted it was frustrating as well as expensive.

"It's a blow in terms of the cash flow with the loss of bar takings and associated commercial spin-offs," said Boddy.

Supporters hoping to buy the club's centenary book before Christmas can still do so with the club shop open today, tomorrow and Christmas Eve from 10am-5pm.

Meanwhile season ticket prices have been amended to reflect the postponed games.

Tickets bought up to or before the New Year's Day game with Stafford will cost: Adult -- ground £75, stand £85; concessions -- ground £45, stand £55.
