FRUSTRATED Jan Molby was left fuming at the officials again as Kidderminster Harriers were cruelly dumped out of the Carling Cup last night.

Harriers took Championship outfit Cardiff City to penalty kicks, with the score 1-1 after extra-time, but goalkeeper John Danby was pen-alised for stepping off his line before Stuart Fleetwood took his kick.

Fleetwood slammed home the re-take, meaning Steve Burton's saved penalty proved crucial in dumping Harriers out of the first round 5-4.

Molby's side deserved far more after an impressive display and the director of football was left cursing refereeing decisions for the third match in a row.

The Dane fumed: "I find it incredible how the officials can make that decision. Their keeper saves a penalty and gets away with it and ours doesn't. They are saying John was a yard off his line when he saved it.

"The advantage is with the taker and you have got to give the goalkeeper a little bit of credit. There were some excellent penalties."

Molby added: "I was a bit worried before the game because we were without a lot of first-team regulars. I thought everybody did their bit and at times we looked the better side."
