JAN Molby has admitted talented young goalkeeper John Danby is out-growing Kidderminster Harriers with his current progress.
The Harriers keeper was again showered with praise this week after impressive displays against Mansfield in Coca-Cola League Two and then Cardiff in Tuesday's Carling Cup exit.
But former youth-teamer Danby, who turns 21 next month, is yet to attract any bids, according to director of football Molby who rates him as the "best young goalkeeper in England."
Molby stressed: "We want to keep John here for as long as we can but I think it's a crying shame if he's got to play at this level. We speak about him every week and if there's a better young keeper in England then I haven't seen him.
"I know he plays at this level and people find it strange if I say that but it's a fact. People saw that again against Cardiff."
Chairman Colin Youngjohns said: "He's playing out of his skin which is encouraging the scouts but we want him to help us put a lot of points on the board."
