WORCESTER Rugby Club will hope to wrap up their signing of Andr van Niekerk next week.
The Lions hooker, who has agreed personal terms with the newly-promoted Premiership club, looks set to sign a one-year deal next week at Sixways.
The South African will be the final piece in Worcester's jigsaw after a busy summer shopping spree. Van Niekerk will be the 14th signing, following hot on the heels of players such as Thinus Delport and Thomas Lombard.
Released players, such as Gavin Pfister and Dan Zaltzman, have made the move to Pertemps Bees, while Duncan Murray, Matt Evans and Rhodri McAtee have all switched to Penzance and Newlyn. Released wing Chris Garrard has returned to Australia.
