SOMETHING has got to give tomorrow unless struggling Lincoln City and Kidderminster Harriers end up with a stalemate at Sincil Bank (1pm).

Harriers are yet to win away, scoring just once on their travels, but come up against a Lincoln side that has failed to register a Coca-Cola League Two success on home turf.

Jan Molby's men produced an improved display at home to Cambridge United last Saturday, creating good chances, but could still only draw with their fellow strugglers after a last-minute equaliser.

It will be interesting to see whether they can build on that performance and one bonus will be if Molby can make relatively few changes to the line-up.

Loan signings Steve McMahon and Kelvin Langmead, who extended their deals into a second month this week, will be knocking on the door for a return to the starting line-up though.

Striker Iyseden Christie, given the all-clear on the foot he broke last season, should be ready for only his second appearance off the substitutes bench.

Though Lincoln have won just once in the league since the opening game of the season, they did record a shock 3-1 Carling Cup win over Championship outfit Derby County in late August.

Known for a physical and direct approach, they have, however, struggled to get the better of Molby who has yet to be defeated there while in charge of Kidderminster.

Molby, who has been toughening his team up with circuit training and boxing training, has chalked up 3-3 and 1-1 draws there as well as a 1-0 win in 2001.

The Liverpool legend said of the training schedule: "We just thought we'd do something slightly different and make it as tough as possible. The whole week has been physical and Saturday will be a physical test for us.

"We'll be asked to defend all sorts of things, long throws, set-pieces and an aerial bombardment because they are a team who are very good at that.

"But I've got to get the players to be as brave as possible at Lincoln. When you go there, you've got to have some ambition of your own. You can't just be hell-bent on stopping them."

Imps manager Keith Alexander admitted: "The pressure is on against Kidderminster but that's because we have to start winning at home, not because they are at the bottom of the league."

Harriers are being linked with out-of-favour Lincoln centre-half Simon Weaver, currently transfer-listed, but Alexander has denied having any contact with Molby.

The Dane, forced to pit his faith in rookie Chris McHale due to Abdou Sall's ban, has been seeking out defenders, especially with Reuben Hazell's lingering knee problem keeping him out.

Weaver's experience in the previously stingy Lincoln back-line could hold him in good stead and he previously played for Nuneaton Borough in the Conference.

Lincoln have injury worries over skipper Paul Morgan, ex-Worcester City winger Michael Blackwood, Jamie McCombe, Ciaran Toner, reserve 'keeper Simon Rayner and Adrian Littlejohn.
