MIDFIELDER Lee Jenkins is convinced Kidderminster Harriers can drag

themselves away from the Coca-Cola League Two danger zone.

Harriers go into today's clash at Lincoln City at the foot of the table

after a desperately disappointing start to the season.

Jenkins, however, believes the side have the ability to turn the corner,

particularly when they are clear of injuries to key players.

The former Swansea City campaigner said: "We know in the dressing room that we have player capable of getting us out of this position. That is definite.

"I was a Swansea and we were at the bottom of the league for six or seven

months and you felt there as if you were going to get relegated.

"I don't have that feeling here at all, the lads are sufficiently confident."

Jenkins is convinced shot-shy Harriers will start improving their

'goals-for' column as soon as striker Iyseden Christie is able to play

regularly following a foot injury.

He said: "When we get players like Christie fit then the entire team will

benefit and we'll get the lift we need. I can definitely see us turning the

corner soon and I'm looking forward to it."

Harriers director of football Jan Molby also believes Christie will make a big difference, but is anxious his side don't become adrift at the bottom of

the table while they strive to overcome their injury problems.

The former Liverpool star said: "For as long as you're in a situation where

one win will keep you in touch with the bottom six or seven teams then there's no problem. But I agree if there's one place you don't want to be, then

it's bottom."
