JON Hylton will today find out how serious his knee injury is.

Worcester Warriors' winger, who was carried from the field during Saturday's Leinster clash after taking a big hit, will see a specialist today after having a scan.

Worcester's director of rugby John Brain said: "The early indications from the scan are a bit of a worry but we won't know how long Jon's going to be out until he meets the specialist.

"The injury is very unfortunate for Jon because he has enjoyed a good pre-season and was looking forward to Sunday's match with Newcastle."

There was better news on the injury front for Worcester, however, when Neil Lyman and Drew Hickey re-turned to training. Lyman has been struggling with a sternum injury, while Hickey has had a knee problem.

Lyman, though, took part in a full session yesterday and scrummaged, while Hickey has had the all-clear following bruising to his knee.

"Drew Hickey will be fit and available for Sunday," added Brain.

"Certainly that's very positive news for us and hopefully Neil will also be fit for Sunday. We've got a bit of time yet so we are hopeful."

Meanwhile, Brain was today delighted with his latest capture. Lock Tim Collier signed on Monday from London Welsh and will go into the mix for Sunday's clash.

"At 135 kilos and very little body fat, Tim is probably the biggest man in the Premiership," said Brain.

"He will add a great deal to our pack in the Premiership. He's a very powerful man and we're delighted to have him on board.

"Some people may be a little surprised that we've brought in someone from London Welsh but I have faith in Tim. There are a few areas we need to work on but he goes straight into contention for a place on Sunday."
