HALESOWEN Town are keen to extend David Foy's loan stay despite the Wor-cester City midfielder's red card on Tuesday night.

Foy received a straight red in Halesowen's 2-2 draw at Shepshed Dynamo and is liable for a three-match ban.

He was sent off in the 90th minute for violent conduct following an incident with Shepshed midfielder Steve Coates.

The Dr Martens Western Division side are interested in extending Foy's month-long loan deal -- possibly on a match by match basis.

If Foy elects to return to St George's Lane he will be ineligible for the Grantham Town, Weymouth and Hav-ant and Waterlooville clashes in the middle of next month.

Halesowen play City in a Worcestershire Senior Cup semi-final at St George's Lane on Monday night but Foy will not be allowed to play in that.
