A tale of mystery and adventure will be relived at the Conquest Theatre in Bromyard.

A two-person performance of Lady Molly of Scotland Yard takes place at 8pm on Saturday, September 25.

Hunt Roberts Theatre Company founders Sandra Hunt and Rachel Laurence will perform every character in the play by Scarlet Pimpernel creator Baroness Orczy.

Nobody knows the head of the female department of Scotland Yard's true identity.

All people know is that Lady Molly is the most gifted psychologist of her day, solving the riddle of the Inverness Cape and the Somerset Outrage.

The play follows a series of bold adventures, ending with the greatest mystery of them all, who has stolen Lady Molly's heart?

The company recently toured Alan Bennett's Talking Heads and another previous production was The Ladies of Cranford, an adaptation of the Elizabeth Gaskell novel, Cranford.

Sarah Hunt will return to the Conquest Theatre on October 16 with The Life and Loves of a Kitchen Devil, a play based on the life of celebrity cook Fanny Cradock.

Tickets for Lady Molly of Scotland Yard are £7 and £6. For details call 01885 488575.
