I HAVE so often written to your paper complaining about the acts and omissions of Malvern Hills district councillors that I can scarce forbear to cheer on finding reason to applaud.

In their second advertisement of the arrangements for tax payers to inspect their accounts, they modestly make no reference to the fact that, regardless of the cost of extra wages et cetera, for three weeks from September 24 the library will open daily 30 minutes earlier than usual and on Saturdays close 30 minutes later to allow scrutiny.

It is good to find councillors so confident that their spending of other people's money is above reproach that they allow more time to find fault than is by law required.
