Further to Jeremy Webb's interesting analysis of the intractable problems posed by the proposed development of North Site (Your Letters, September 10), since there appears to be no certainty that either Defence Estates or the county council will provide anything like the essential improvements to the present road system, let alone agree to build the alternative relief link road from North Site to Townsend Way; then surely the very wisdom of the proposed size of the new housing development must itself be urgently called into question.
