THE Mothers' Union will be returning to Malvern Priory after an absence of more than 50 years.
At a service on Sunday (September 19), members of the congregation and some clergy will be admitted to this worldwide Christian organisation.
Mrs Joyce Bush, diocesan president of the MU, will be at the 10.30am service at which ten new members will be admitted and several others will renew their membership.
Rev John Barr said: "As this is the weekend when the International Year of the Family is being observed nationally by the Mothers' Union, we are delighted that this sign of support for marriage and family life is happening during our main Sunday service."
The service will also include the baptism of a baby of one of the new MU members and a ruby wedding anniversary celebration of another.
