UPTON Youth Band will be competing in its final competition of the season this weekend.
Both the A-Corps and the Cadets will take part in the British Youth Band Association national finals in Coventry, after qualifying over the last few months.
The band recently enjoyed success at a competition in Dorset. The A-Corps walked away with third place and the Cadets with second, at the event in Baughurst on September 4.
Spokesman Nicki Taha said: "They've done the hard work for the competitions and they've got their places, so whatever the result, this is the icing on the cake."
