DURING the end of the last summer term, a parent and toddler group was set up at Berrow Village Hall in conjunction with Pendock Under-5s Playgroup. The trial period has proved successful as four families are already enjoying the new group, which meets at Berrow Village Hall from 10.30am till noon and costs £1 per family, including coffee, drinks and biscuits.
The group is small and aimed at parents or carers with babies or young children. The sessions allow the children to play and the parents stay to supervise their children and also to socialise with others.
If anyone has any unwanted toys suitable for babies or young children and would like to donate them to the group, we would be most grateful.
