LOCAL supermarket store Budgens have presented Bid-ford Tennis Club with a new shield for the Under-16 Boys Championship.
The inaugural holder will be Alex Gretton who received his silverware at the Salford Road club's Junior Presentation and Barbecue last Saturday.
Prizes - Junior Girl of 2004: Scarlett Hanks. Boy: George Naylor. Beginners: Winner, Jack Wain; runner-up, G Naylor. Round-Robin: J Wain; Scott Nash. Under-16-Boys champion: A Gretton; runner-up, David Targett. Round-Robin: Tristan Gretton; A Gretton. Boys Ladder: Winner, G Naylor. Medals of Merit: S Nash, Harry Naylor, Hayley Yates, Gabriella Yates.
