A SOUL band from Wyre Forest are set to celebrate their 11th anniversary with a concert at a Wolverley pub.
Blind Lemon are performing at the Kingsford Pub on Saturday after a record year, which included dozens of gigs throughout the Midlands, including a benefit concert for Worcestershire County Cricket Club coach and former Australian international cricketer, Tom Moody.
Guitarist, Nick McCarthy, said: "We have plenty of new material which will be given an airing for the first time at the Kingsford on Saturday.
"We're delighted to be asked back to the venue, which has been a regular fixture on the Blind Lemon calendar for many years."
The band also comprises keyboard player, Rob Allen, saxophonist, Tim Pickering, bassist, Richard Morgan, drummer, Danny Koisser and singer, Mark Pearsall and was formed in Kidderminster in 1993.
They celebrated their 10th anniversary with a charity concert which generated £1,200 for Kemp Hospice.
