JAN Molby has confessed he does not know whether his current squad is good enough to keep Kidderminster Harriers in the Football League.

Molby, who released winger Stuart Roberts this week, has been prevented from getting a true picture of his side's ability by injuries and suspensions.

And the Aggborough gaffer admits he will not know for definite how much quality he has at his disposal until they play together regularly.

"I still don't know what I've got in that dressing room," admitted Molby, who is hoping to end a run of five straight league defeats this weekend.

"I think I've got a squad that are capable of staying in League Two but we don't know for definite because we haven't seen them.

"There's a lot of them we haven't seen and some of them we've only seen a little bit of.

"But I think if we can get somewhere near what I consider in my head to be our strongest line up playing together six or seven times we'll certainly have a clear idea."

Molby's options were improved slightly this weekend with his three Frenchmen moving closer to fitness.

Yossou Diop (calf) is set to start up front against Macclesfield on Saturday, while Frederic Advice-Desruisseaux is over the worst of a neck and calf injury and Abdou Sall could also figure.

Iyseden Christie could be on the bench again.

Molby also expects keeper John Danby to recover from his broken nose and bruising at the hands of Swansea last week to play, even though he has been unable to train for much of the week.

With second choice keeper Daniel Lewis having an x-ray on a suspected broken finger, the manager himself has had to deputise in goal in training.

Midfield generals Dean Keates (ankle) and Micky Mellon (achilles) are also set to declare themselves fit despite playing little part in training.

The main worry for Kidderminster is the injury to Lee Jenkins with the Welshman set to undergo a late fitness test on Saturday.

If Jenkins and Reuben Hazell continue to struggle, Molby admits he will be forced into the transfer or loan market for a new right back.

Menawhile, Molby has decided to allow former Swansea and Wycombe winger Roberts to leave the club after interest from Conference outfit Forest Green Rovers.

After scoring with his first Harriers touch in the 2-1 defeat at Mansfield, Roberts has struggled with his form.

"I've spoken to Stuart and told him we're not going to keep him," said Molby, who has admits to putting on a brave face to take the pressure off his players.

"Although I'm struggling for goals I'm not struggling for bodies up front at the moment with some of the lads coming back.

"Stuart started brightly for us and is a very good player but I just think he's hit a brick wall."
