This branch of the League covers postcodes from DY1 to DY13, including Wyre Forest.
Cats Protection Week runs until Saturday, and currently there are many male cats in the care of volunteers.
Male felines looking for new homes include: George, a nine-month-old black and white semi-longhaired puss; Mr Hawkins, a mature black and white tom with one eye missing; McGoo and Popeye, two lively young brothers whose early encounter with cat-flu has left them both missing an eye, but they are fully recovered and full of energy; Baby, a young black and white cat.
Anyone interested in giving a home to these or any of the cats currently in care is asked to telephone 07092 301744.
The branch rescued and re-homed 163 stray and unwanted cats during the past year.
People on low incomes can be helped with neutering and contributions to veterinary costs in extreme cases.
