AN energetic night of shirt-loosening, brow-wiping and ankle-rubbing will be taking place when a barn dance comes to Colwall Village Hall, near Malvern.
Whiffeldy will be playing live music at the event and encouraging people to take their partner by the hand.
The band are a six piece and they play accordian, fiddle, woodwind, bass and assorted percussion.
The band play traditional English, Irish and American tunes, and Rob Edden will be calling the dances.
The dance, which takes place on Saturday, September 18 at 7.30pm, is a Colwall Players' event and everyone is welcome.
"The band are very well known in the area and it will be a popular bash," said Adrian Mealing, publicist for the Colwall Players.
Tickets cost £10, or £5 for accompanied children, and they include a combine harvester's supper.
