The 150th two-day flower, vegetable and floral art show was held recently.
The following won trophies: roses and gladioli Eileen Fletcher; dahlias, vegetables, and Banksian Medal Ron Marsh; general classes Robert Sheriffl; domestic classes Sheila Bishop; floral art club exhibit Bewdley Floral Art Society; floral art most points Diane Chater; children's rosette Beth Lowe; children's rosette and cup Megan Williams.
At the meeting on October 6, which starts at 7.30pm, there will be a talk on "Streptocarpus". The mini autumn show will also be held.
There are still a few china commemorative mugs for sale, and a few copies of the book "Bewdley Horticultural Society Looks Back", by Heather Flack.
Meetings are held at Wribbenhall Community Centre, Shaw Hedge Road, Bewdley, and non-members are always welcome.
