CAROLE Elliot was the victor from 96 competitors as Droitwich Golf Club hosted the Charles Heeley Challenge Bowl.
The annual invite contest is for two golfers from all clubs in Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire.
Elliot, a member at Copt Heath in Knowle, was not put off by the poor weather as she recorded 34 stableford points.
In addition, Droitwich captains Dave Nevett and Veronica Pickering presented £13,620 to their year's chosen charity, the Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove.
Best gross score on the day was 28 by Stourbridge's Sarah Cranton, while the nett prizes were closely contested.
Skye Furnace, of Stratford, managed 31 to win the silver division on the back nine, ahead of D McCormick, of Nuneaton.
The bronze division went to Kate Sammons, of Moseley, with 30 points but was again decided on the back nine over Chase's Shirley Roycroft.
