CHADDESLEY recorded a comfortable 32-5 victory at home to Evesham seconds in North Midlands Two South despite starting slowly and going behind to an early try.

This fifth minute concession galvanised Chaddesley into action and they gradually started to dominate both possession and territory. Chaddesley reduced Evesham's lead on 15 minutes when Rowan Vorster kicked a penalty after Evesham were penalised for handling in a ruck.

The hosts maintained their dominance and deservedly took the lead after 25 minutes when James Cameron broke away from a maul to drive over for Chaddesley's first try of the afternoon. Five minutes later they increased their advantage with Phil Page scoring a try following good work by Charlie D'auncy and Jon Ives.

Rowan Vorster added the conversion to give Chaddesley a 15-5 half time lead. The first 20 minutes of the second half were even with both sides creating scoring chances but being denied by excellent defence.

With their forwards re-gaining their earlier dominance Chaddesley controlled the last quarter of the game and added further tries from Adam Forgil, Rowan Vorster and new captain Ben Towe. Rowan Vorster kicked one further conversion as Chaddesley ran out comfortable winners.
