A SPIRITED showing from a side including six debutants was not enough to stop Stourport seconds slumping to a 34-12 defeat at Bromyard seconds.
Stourport took the lead through a good passage of play which was capped off by Matty Roberts's unconverted try in the corner.
Bromyard then piled on the pressure but superb tackling from Chris Wood and Stuart Wilson kept Bromyard out until the pair had to leave the field with head injuries.
Inexperience was Stourport's downfall but Adam Price gave them some consolation with his first try for the club, converted by Rob Humphries.
