BURLISH Olympic Ladies are in seventh heaven after starting their Worcestershire County League season by scoring seven goals in two victories.

They followed up their 3-0 home win over Headless Cross Reserves with a convincing 4-0 success at Harriers Ladies Reserves.

Kicking down the Hartlebury slope first half, Burlish took full advantage with three goals from balls over the top.

And they stuck to their task after the break to make sure of the points with a fourth goal.

Debbie Prescott bagged a brace while Mary Calder and Carla Worrall was also on target with captain Val Lavery voted player of the match.

Coach Dave Glass said: "We've started the season with seven goals, two clean sheets and two wins so it's very pleasing."

Burlish entertain Malvern on Sunday afternoon.
