A FATHER and daughter are over the moon after winning a competition to present Manchester United footballer Cristiano Rona-ldo with the player of the year award.
Rachel and Tony Hughes, from Laurel Avenue, Evesham, will present the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year Award to Ronaldo at Old Trafford, Manchester United FC's home ground.
The presentation will take place at this Monday's home match against Liverpool before the 8pm kick-off.
Rachel, aged 22, found out she had won the competition three weeks ago, after both she and her 49-year-old father, Tony, voted for Ronaldo to scoop the club's player of the year award on the Manchester United FC website.
