AFTER my letter about the disgusting state of the alley from The Deansway to The Oaklands, in Kidderminster, was published (Shuttle/Times and News, August 26), the council condescended to send one of their workers to supposedly give it a good clean-up.
Alas, he was armed with a spade and a broom, pulled up a few weeds in the cleaner half of the alley, gave it a sweep, and off he went, leaving the worst half of the alley and the approach untouched.
Wyre Forest District Council are soon after our Council Tax so why not oblige local residents and give this alley a good clean, then maintain it every so often. It really needs it.
