PAUL Thomas celebrated 21 years at Kidderminster Chess Club by winning the President's Cup, for the first time, having been the only player to win four games in the event.
His victories were against Clive Billinge, Terry Pountney, Frank Pickett and Derek Digger. He was presented with the trophy at the annual meeting.

The Kidderminster Championship and Shuttle Shield competitions have not yet been settled.
