WAGGON and Horses B edged a 4-3 victory over the White Swan in a predictably tight Banks's Bewdley Town Darts League clash on Friday.
The lead swung back and forth and it went down to the final match.
Waggon A captain Barry Tayler finally clinched victory over Ade Mayall.
Black Boy continued their unbeaten home record with a 5-2 win over Great Western A, including "tons" from John Mountford and Craig Pointon.
Captain Steve Bradbury had nine darts to finish the game against Western skipper Pete Carter but was defeated.
Tony Barrett scored 87 and a ton in the doubles, but struggled with partner Dave Salmon before they ran out winners.
Bliss Gate beat Cock and Magpie 5-2, with Magpie's captain Neil Harrison, and Tony Danks being their two winners.
The best result was Waggon and Horses B's 6-1 win over Bewdley Bowling Club 6-1.
Rising Sun A and B teams had byes.
SWAN Blakedown A's 8-0 defeat of Fairfield Dames in the Chaddesley Corbett District Darts League included a superb 146 finish by Maurice Chandlin.
For Fairfield Ann Cartwright had a break of 112.
Beech Tree also won 8-0, beating The Plough, for who Simon Cross made a 100 break.
