PRODUCE SHOW: The annual show proved successful again this year with more entries, especially from children. It was held at the Hall of Friendship and in the garden of Latimers by invitation of Lt Col and Mrs C Webb.

New events which proved popular were fish races in the brook, a bouncy castle, pony rides and a scarecrow competition.
