ROYAL BRITISH ELGION: The women's section held its September meeting in the Betteridge Room where Mrs Kearsey welcomed back members after the summer break. Thanks were given to Emma for holding a ploughman's supper in her garden which raised £34, also to Cyril and Mervyn for organising an auction and donating £78 to branch funds.
After the business Diana Raphael gave a talk on Evesham in Bloom. She was thanked by Mrs Brown.
Hostesses for the evening were R Rencher, S Sceats and V Wall.
The monthly prize was won by J Wood.
