THEATREGOERS have plenty to attract them to Birmingham's Hippodrome in the coming weeks.

Their autumn/winter season features many new productions together with the return of some great favourites.

Bill Kenwright's new production of Jesus Christ Superstar is currently playing on stage, until this weekend, and the Broadway and West End Production of Kiss Me, Kate with Les Dennis and Michael Greco, opens next Tuesday.

The Birmingham Royal Ballet present a season of dance at their home theatre, performing an exhilarating variety of works including the premiere of a brand new piece by artistic director David Bintley and the return of The Nutcracker this Christmas.

Ken Dodd is back by popular demand with his Happiness Show, which sees Ken celebrate 50 years in showbusiness.

And comedy continues later in the year with the return of the modern cult classic The Play What I Wrote -- the acclaimed tribute to Morecambe and Wise featuring surprise celebrity guests.
