A YOUNG Droitwich Spa Ladies team were beaten 7-1 at Worcester City Ladies.
Spa's team, who left junior football last season, were a match for City in their Kidderminster Women's County League match until Spa goalkeeper Debbie Knight was injured after 20 minutes and had to be replaced by right winger Bethany Roberts.
City took control and led 5-0 at the break. Although Spa conceded another two they fought back and got a consolation through Tanya Hill. Roberts was lady of the match.
